Didnt make the steps weekend, have been trying to download to save to my music so I can burn a cd. Has the set up changed being asked to my a Mac program to save the recordings. Not sure what to do, any ideas. Would be grateful for sure. Struggling AA member. Leonie
Thank u for the opportunity of allowing me 2 be of service at the AA Steps weekend.
I loved hearing Nancy M share in particular.
Hearing the American accent at meetings is a bonus.
And, I took the opportunity of talking with her afterwards.
It is great to hear such strong and positive sober woman share their experience. I hope to do that one day.
Unfortunately though, as a greeter volunteer I felt very foolish and uncomfortable wearing the silly clown hat that was required and I partly didn’t return for my greeting commitment because of this; I did try to contact the volunteer co-ordinator to no avail.
As a newly sober woman I have enough low self esteem issues at the present moment without adding to it and part of my healing is to express my feelings truthfully and without venom wherever possible.
I was however Fortunate that a friend spontaneosly ‘came to the rescue’ for a little while, thank u anon.
Maybe others felt the same, or maybe not; I would b interested to know???
Kind regards and congratulations for an overall inspiring weekend.
